Tempered glass is valued by consumers for its unbeatable scratch resistance of 9H. This means even sharp objects, such as keys or coins, won’t scratch the surface.
The hardening process at an extreme temperature of 420°C gives the glass exceptional mechanical strength. 9H glass protects against scratches and absorbs impacts from phone drops, largely shielding the display from shattering.
